After a great win in the North West Counties Semi-final on Tuesday 23rd March, the squad backed up 48 hours later with a win in the English Schools National Cup against St Catherines from Halifax, today by 30 points to 10. Ensuring at least a rank of one of the top 8 sides in the country.
The lads were 10 points down after 10 minutes, but the turned the garme around with 30 unanswered points. Thanks to the staff who were able to come and support in unit.
The lads and indeed the pupils who stayed to watch the game were great ambassadors for the school, as they always are in these situations.
We are to meet Edmund Arrowsmith from Wigan at home and the date is tba, the deadline is April 23rd and likewise i am awaiting details for the NW Cup Final.
